biscuit recipe like the pillsbury grands??

I saw the commercial for the unsloppy joes and I thought that would be a good one to make so I am looking for a cood biscuit reipe that would work for that. I thought about just using a pizza dough and just make some small calzones.

I appreceiate any thoughts or suggestions.

Take any good biscuit dough, make it, flatten it, and you've got your unsloppy joes.

You can try this classic tea-style biscuit receipe

2 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup milk

Bake at 400 degrees F (~200 degrees C). for 10-15 min, until the top edges begin to get golden in color.
