Definitely softer and not as dry as previous attempts. Surprised myself. LOL
I've only made buns one time, and while they tasted really good and were perfect in the flavor and texture area, they were quite pale on the bottom. Yours look like how I wished mine did. What type of enrichments did you use? Butter, eggs, or milk. Anything like that?
1 1/4 cups hot tap water1 egg (beaten)1/3 cup softened unsalted butter2Tbsp Vegetable Oil4 cups Bread flour1 Tbsp Vital Wheat Gluten 1/3 cup sugar1/2 tsp salt2 tsp yeast
