newbie- Puerto Rico -questions
I recently moved to Puereto Rico from upstate NY. I love it here but do not like their bread. Ive made bread in the past but am new to the " no knead method". Ive made several loaves and so far so good. I have a few questions. Cover on or cover off?? Do I use steam with cover on or off? I preheat my oven-do I need to preheat the pot. I have a hugh cast iron DO and I have problems handling it when its hot? Last question, I live in the land of aluminum DO pots, can I use them?? Would I have to change time and temp while cooking??
