Hawos Mill

Just a note to anyone looking to purchase a new flour mill.

I recently purchased a Hawos Billy 100 flour mill from an ebay vendor in Germany for a pretty reasonable price.  The vendor has quite a few mills for sale, and they come in quite a bit cheaper than what you would find in North America.  Of course, you should be comfortable with the fact that warranty issues may be harder to deal with, but they look pretty sturdy and I feel that Hawos would stand behind their mill regardless.  I received it about 1 week from the day I purchased it.

Hello,

I just found your post while researching grain mills online. I checked Ebay but it seems all German made grain mills are shipped from Great Britain and are priced in GBP. With added GBP 15 for 110 volt models and GBP 35 for shipping, it comes to about $500 for Hawos Oktini mill (haven't seen the same one as you have purchased). Did you purchase yours directly from a German seller? If so, do you mind sharing information so I can try and locate this seller as well? I appreciate your help.

Thank you Jeff! I have bought from them before. They are good. I was curious to see what kind of savings one could get when buying directly from a German supplier.
