Ok so she is just out of the oven so I can not show the crumb yet but I will edit later to include crumb.

the two doughs

rolled out and ready to create "one loaf to rule them all!" Sorry geeked out there for second....

Time for her to sleep.....

on the outside.  What recipe did you use for the two doughs?

I used one formula split it in half and made the dark rye half with unsweetened coco powder and 75gr of espresso.

Is it SD, commercial yeast or both?  The crumb is very open and it looks really soft.  The pastrami looks pretty good too. Yummy!

Great job!  I never saw a pastrami sandwich I didn't like and yours looks perfect on that nice marble rye.  Just save a slice for Jerry and George.

@ Dabrow- Instant yeast only this time around I think next I will do SD. The cornbeef wasn't the best I have ever had but it hit the spot with the fresh bread.
