Site upgrade this evening
I did a large site upgrade this evening, updating Drupal and a zillion of the modules. As far as I can tell, everything went smoothly. Please let me know if you experience any trouble.
I hope to be doing a number of site improvements and upgrades in the next few weeks, so stay tuned.

I am no longer seeing an Edit My Post link at the bottom of my posts (which I noticed after I found a typo in one of my posts). Has this been moved or removed?

Shouldn't have been removed. I think what it may be is that once someone replies to one of your comments you can't edit it. That is a feature of the comment system that is supposed to cut down on flame-wars ("You said xxx!", "No I didn't!!")
Yes, after I posted I realized that this behaviour is now in-line with other Drupal-based sites. The earlier version you were running must have allowed edits after replies and the latest version removed it.

Seems everytime I post a picture in a reply, a Picture apears on it's own as a forum topic on the back page created by me. i'm not sure how this is happening... It has happened twice, and twice I've edited and deleted it. Is there a box I've ticked off somewhere? Mini O
That is correct: if you upload an image using the image assist or image upload functionality, it creates a node to store your image. So don't worry about that.

Understood. But I think if you upload using the built in upload functionality, that will happen.

Later found in Mini Oven's track. Does this happen when I give it a "title" in the download form? And if I leave it blank? (I'm getting DeJavu or what ever it's called.)
How can I do this (as Mini Oven clearly did in her post of Nov 12th)? I've looked for instructions on TLF and failed to find any. A search on "upload photos" got a thread that mentioned clicking on a camera icon, but I don't see any such icon.
It would save time if I didn't have to first upload photo(s) to an external site in order to point to that url in a TLF post. And if the photo was on the TLF server, there would never be a problem of a broken image link.
If it possibly matters, my browser is Firefox 2 and I run linux.

I would encourage you to continuing uploading and hosting the images off your own server. That saves me bandwidth and disk space and also keeps the images under your control. Sites like Photobucket and Flickr provide much better photo management tools than I ever will.
I understand completely the dollar savings to you (oh mighty webmaster of TLF) for bandwidth and storage space, both of which you must pay for in order to maintain the site. Will continue to use my account on flickr.com
However, being smitten by a slight geeky fever, I did manage to figure out how to post an image directly to TLF. Promise never to do it again.
