I am making Boules to be given out next week.. my question is what is the best way to store the bread so it will not go stale?
If I am using a loaf I store it in a linen cloth and then in a plastic bag. This keeps the loaf fresh until we have eaten it all, usually 5 0r 6 days. If I wanted to keep it fresh for any longer than this I would put it in the freezer, well wrapped when it is completely cool..
