Looks delicious.   Wish I could figure out how to get invited to lunch, and then figure out a way to get there.  -Varda

invited anytime Varda but you have to bring a loaf of your chocolate rye bread which is still best looking crumb I have ever seen.

Nothing like a luscious lunch in my book.  Thanks for you comment now get to baking my Chocolate Rye in that WFO before winter sets in :-)

These photos are killing me.  Such a knack for color and placement - but me thinks it is more of a gift.  Not many can come any where near as close to making a meal look attractive as you do.  So I will call it a gift and it is good to know it isn't being wasted.

Not only does the food look delicious but it all looks like sunshine.  Must be that Arizona influence.

Thanks for brightening up my day.

Janet

P.S.  I am wondering what your apprentice gets to eat?

beautiful buildings.  Now I design and build beautiful plates of food - and eat them!  Food plates a way more interesting, fast and delicious :-) The sunshine makes for some very nice sunsets - when there are clouds in the sky.  These two sunsets are from our trip to Tucson to visit our daughter on her last parents weekend at the U of A.  We had such fun hiking Sabino Canyon, tailgating the football game, eating Mexican food......

Glad you liked the post and that it brightened your day - it sure did mine for a couple of weeks!

I have to go eat something now!  Nice spread as usual.

What is that pink drink?

The pizza looks fantastic.

It is my signature margarita made from the juice of one Mexican key lime, 3 T of prickly pear simple syrup, 1 oz of Brownman's House Minneola Arancello, 3 oz of tequila and 4 oz of water (for a tall).  Notice it matches the Tucson sunset and the beautiful  blooming Bougainvillea too.  A real 3 some but I like the Margarita the best :-)

The pizza was very good and the crust very thin as you can see.

Glad you liked the spread Ian!

What I wouldn't give for one of your margaritas right now!  It's been a trying week and with my company on life support I am going on a job interview on Monday.  Had to wait about 2 hours today to get enough gas in my car to drive the 3 hours for the interview in PA.  The thought of moving makes me want several of your margaritas!  I also have an opportunity in Memphis....so it could be between Philly Cheesesteaks and Memphis Ribs and Pulled Pork!

the ones in KCMO but Philly is a much larger city and more to do.  I suppose the place to go is where life takes you.  I hate moving.  I would rather slit my wrists and lay down in the gutter but I sure have moved a lot and lived in many places over the years.   Sorry to hear your company is in bad shape.  I'm sure Sandy didn't help it any either but glad you have opportunities to explore.

Thanks DA.  I have been on LI most of my life so maybe it's time to explore new frontiers as a famous captain used to say!

Regards,
Ian

You are a food artist, providing a feast to the eyes, the mouth (wish I could taste!) and the soul.

mainly eggshell tempera abstracts now a days!  I suppose my architectural and art training is finally coming into its own :-)

Glad you like the food and the post.
