Anyone know of Bay State Milling?

I recently purchased some Basco unbleached unbromated flour from Bay State Milling. Anyone worked with it. It has a 10.9 =+/- .3 protein content

Yes, Bay State is a common bakery flour in my experience. The past three bakeries I have worked at, including my current have received Bay State Milling flours of some kind. Unfortunately I have yet to work with the kind you mention. It sounds like an AP Flour though.

Plans with it?

Yeah it's an AP. I just wonder how well their flour quality is. I plan on make baguettes and some sourdough boules with because I purchased a 50 lb bag of it from a bakery.

They are one of the major flour suppliers for professional bakeries, would be a higher quality than King Arthur.

Impressive! They don't do retail, do they? I've never seen their flour products in the four grocery stores I  frequent: Whole Foods, Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Krogers.

No. I believe they only do bakeries, which is where I procured my bag.

Thanks Red5 I'm pumped to use it now!
