Rye-only bread

Hello there! I have never baked bread, but need to learn. My mom is diabetic, and I cannot use all-purpose flour, only rye. I am quite limited in terms of fancy, unusual flour types, so, if someone knows a good recipe for rye-only bread, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

Although there are a few 100% rye recipes out there using commercial forms of yeast, the flavour and quality of the rye bread would benefit greatly using a sourdough starter to raise the dough.  First step would be to acquire or make a "starter," a rye sourdough culture which may take a week or more before getting about the task of making the bread.  This sourdough culture can then be regularly maintained as a source of wild yeast for raising bread dough.
