circular cooling rack

KipperCat, a friend of mine asked me whether I could remember seeing a round cooling rack on TFL - she saw it and couldn't remember where. I went back through some blog entries and noticed that you have one. Could you tell me where you got it, please? I am assuming that is the one she meant and she really really wants one. I led her astray into the breadmaking world and she says she may never forgive me - but she is making sourdough bread with my starter. I would love to put her on the right track for the rack, many thanks, A

Annie, I just don't remember.  I think it came with something else, but it was at least 10 years ago.  If it's any consolation, there is someone else on TFL with one - I guess I noticed it because it's so much like mine. But I don't remember whose it is, either! Sorry I can't be more help.

I did a quick look. cooksworld.com and fantes.com both have one

Look in the canning supply aisle of your favorite kitchenware store.  They make a round rack to keep glass jars elevated from the bottom of the boiling pot.

Thank you KipperCat and mkelly for the suggestions on finding a circular rack - I passed them on to my friend. She was in San Francisco last weekend and looked in the kitchen stores but couldn't find one. Now she will know where to look, A

I imagine Amazon would have some as well.

Many thanks, KipperCat, I forwarded the information to my friend - the one who is blaming me for her new baking addiction! A
