Silicon bread pans

Anyone looking for silicon bread pans like the kind used to make sub sandwiches , hamburger and hot dog buns can find them at LCFoodscorp.com  They look just like the pans the Subway sandwich shops use.  Mine just arrived and will try out the soft wheat bun recipe in the HBin 5 book , thanks to  Jeff and Zoe ! now my guys can have healthier versions! happy baking everyone !

Are they perforated?  I believe that the Subway ones are.

I know from my experience that non perforated silicon tends to lead to undercooked bottoms.

If they are indeed perforated, I may buy some.

Hey dwcoleman,

Found these online, never tried 'em out though.   Both appear to be perforated.

Smaller 5-bun pan, looks like it would fit in most home ovens:

Larger 10-bun model..

I have very similar chicago metallic baguettes pans.  Perforated silicone would be very nice, storage/cleanup would be so much easier.

There is a french manufacturer which has a fibreglass mould for baguettes, that would be ideal except they are too large for my home oven and cost way too much.

These pans are from a french mfg ! they may be the same ones you are thinking about ! I thought they were very reasonable $20 and $25 dollars ! they are preforated and they fit in my oven on a cookie sheet.

Hi,  I saw those before too, but was looking for the silicon ones like at Subway. Of all places ! quite by accident I found this site and the owner was gracious enough to order them for me ! I think he is just getting his website up and running.
