Aloha everyone
I stumbled upon this site this past Friday and I love it!! I spent a good part of the weekend perusing the different parts of it and I must say that I enjoyed learning so much!!!!
I am a avid cook (baking in particular) and it has been a passion of mine since I was young. Now that I have more time to devote to it I am excited to experiment more with breads and this site seems to be full of information and support, thank you for letting be a part of this, I am looking forward to it!!!

Lisa, are you living in the islands now, or are you an exile? Few English-speakers other than islanders say "aloha".
I live in Honolulu, in Makiki. I love this site. I make good bread, and I've learned how to do it here!

I lived on Kauai for 20 years before moving bak to the mainland, it is a place I will always consider home even though I was a Kama'aina it holds a special place on my heart and my sons still live there (hapa haole of course ;) ). I miss a good box lunch, Poki and fresh seafood and most of all the people and the weather. I live in Ohio now (yeah I know) but I like it here.
Now if I can find a great recipe for sweet breat I will be in heaven!!!
