Nice Video demonstrating Lame cuts on Baguettes

Just thought I'd share this video from Chef Ciril Hitz.. it's a nice summary video of how to make the proper slashes in a baguette

Thanks for that link, BellesAZ.  Great video - love it that he actually drew on the baguette!  This one should definitely be added to the TFL video library.

all "sausages" when I started out. I had not the slightest idea, what I did wrong, until I saw a drawing here in TFL how to score the right way.

Thanks for highlighting this link, BellesAZ.  I was so impressed with it that I linked it to one of the recipes on my web site.

I'm always interested in what other bakers are doing on their sites.  Thanks!

He makes it look effortless.  I just bought his Artisan Pastries book and if you do a search on his website www.breadhitz.com, he has a TON of videos that I find to be extremely informative.  His specialty is dough decorating.. it's really interesting to see his work.

Thanks!

Happy to share that info.  Thank you for asking.  It's nothing fancy, but it helps me help others and that brings me joy.

Awwww.. you have a mascot!  She's really a cutie.  LOL  I use my blog to get quick access to recipes that I like.  I use an iPad on my counter and it's docked in a keyboard.. that way, I can post recipes that I refer to alot on my blog and I don't have to keep guessing where they are!

Thank you for sharing.  Nothin' fancy is the best kind!
