Bosch UM-3 switch problem
Aloha,
I have an elderly Bosch UM-3 which is a real workhorse. But suddenly neither the pulse mode or speed 2 is working. Has anyone ever tried to replace the switch in one of these mixers? I hate to part with it since the motor still seems to be working well. And no, there's no dealer nearby...(!-!)

I found this link originally posted here by LindyD (Thanks!) for a company that sells parts for this mixer and many others, and according to her original post, they also fix them. I see they carry the switch for $14.99. I have a Bosch myself, and they appear to be pretty straight forward to take apart, although I have never had to do so. Mine has screws on the bottom to start the process, and I bet there is not a great deal "under the hood" to make it complicated.
