Today's Bake

Not sure I did this right it is my first time at trying to upload a picture.

Today was also my first go at a Challah. I used the BBA formula. While not perfect I think it came out ok.

enjoy

In the preview I don't see the picture but will send this anyway as a test if nothing else.

Posting pics for the first time can be a little confusing.  Once you get the hang of it is easy.  Follow these steps:

  • Click on the Insert/edit image icon (the little tree against the blue sky icon)
  • Click the Browse button next to the Image URL dialogue box
  • You will now be taken to the File Browser
  • Click Upload
  • Now click Browse
  • Locate the file on your computer and double click it
  • Click Upload
  • Your image will now appear in the File Browser
  • Highlight your image by clicking on it
  • Now click Send to Editor
  • Your image URL will now appear next to image URL in the insert/edit image dialogue box
  • Click Insert
  • Your image will be inserted into your post

A little circuitous but it works.  Remember, if it is not in the preview, you haven't successfully uploaded it.

Thank you very much for posting such concise and accurate instructions

Do you know what it means if 'step one' fails, every time? [I think that means it's been "disabled", somehow...I could be wrong...]

Good job, though!

You're welcome.

Not sure why that would happen.  Didn't know that  posting pics could be disabled.  You do need to be online to post, though.  If, for some reason, your were offline or your connection was temporarily down, you would fail at the first step.  The Insert/edit image dialogue box would appear but it should say something to the effect of: "Connection Failed".

That's a pretty loaf, Gene. :)

according to your instructions

I now use Win7 on the main computer which has my recipes/formulae/bread pics. It would take a fair bit of work to transfer the relevant info onto a 'dinosaur' of a laptop that still has XP on it...

But, once again, thank you for 'a good job well done'...
