what happens when you don't notice what time it is when you start?

what happens when you don't notice the time when you start a couple of loaves?

you find yourself cruising the internet, past your bedtime, while you wait for your loaves to finish baking... ggrrrr

i should have paid closer attention to my start time.

now, i'm sitting here, waiting 16 more minutes until i can take my loaves out of the oven.

i have a feeling i know who is going to be a grouch, tomorrow

The "up" side is that you get to go to bed with the smell of fresh bread cooling in the kitchen.  It almost makes it a little better.  Hard to accept when it is two hours past bed time and wake up time is not moving though.

Hang in there

I am a college student so many of us are notorious for staying up late. On a few occasions I have been up till midnight or later. On one account I was making some white sponge sandwhich bread for some guys in our ward (congregation in an LDS Church). And on another account I made cookies for our entire ward which is over 115 people. I made monster cookies, 200 in all which I counted. I started at 4pm-ish and got done at 12:30am! If was fun though, I watched a movie and did homework at the same time. Boy did I love my cookies scoop then, i couldn't imagine doing them all with spoons!
