Try making these you will not bother to buy any again......

this recipe made 34 cookies, I worked it out at about 50c a cookie, but worth it,,,,

does not half pound make...so now I'm wondering if it should be 1lb butter or 227 grms?

I went with the 1/2 lb,if you assemble all in your mind you would have one very greasy dough,  whgat with the cheese and to a degree a little more grease from the pecans and the butter, wow......

Above are how mine turned out with 1/2 pound butter........,,   qahtan

Lert's hope I'll have more luck with cookies than I do with bread!!  I wouldnot have considered making this if it needed that much butter. Thank for the clarification once again.  Judy
