New purchase!

This is my FIRST EVER purchase of equipment specifically for breadmaking. I am very excited:

25c each. They work great!

The lowly plastic bowl scraper. What a useful tool in the kitchen. I have a dozen or so scattered around mine. I am always reaching for one, to scrape out a bowl. Transfer something from cutting board to pot or pan. Knock the crumbs from a sheet pan to the FoodPro. scrape some unknown sticky purple glop from the counter top...

There are tons of threads on here from people desperately trying to find these humble workhorses of the culinary arts.

And at two bits, I would say that they were a bargain!

Where can we find this great deal?

Thanks.

I went around to the Restaurant Supply place we have here in Norfolk, VA, and asked 'where are your dough scrapers?'

Can't help you if you live anywhere else (although, living anywhere but here is definitely its own reward!) but you might try restaurant supply stores near you!

In stores around us.

I always peruse the kitchen gadgets. Seems like every store has quite an impressive selection, but I never see the lowly scraper.

I did find one, but it is smaller (about 3" wide) and much harder than I hoped for.

I envision one about 4" wide with the same flex as a silicone spatula.

These are something like 3 1/2 inches wide, and somewhat flexible but not super flexible. They'll bend to fit the curve of the bowl, but they're not silicone-spatula flexible. More like a credit card.

Frankly, if anyone would like some, you could send me a dollar and an SASE, and I'd buy 4 and send 'em back to you.
