While some may prefer the Bosch, I didn't care for it.  I took a free Bosch bread class to try it out before making the decision to buy a new mixer and am so glad I did.  They felt cheaply made to me and my plastic bowl was wobbly and misshapen.  When I looked at the other class members, their bowls were the same.  I wanted a metal bowl and I decided to go with the Electrolux Magic Mill DLX.

The only problem with that is its weird going from a spiral mixer like the KAF to a mixer like the Magic Mill.  I keep thinking the dough hook isn't working right, but it is.. all the time my breads turn out great and I love the fact that I can achieve good consistency with the spiral mixer attachment and much of the time I don't even need to use the dough hook.

With that said, however, if you're churning out breads and your machine is doing a good job of it, then by all means sing its praises.. doesn't matter what kind you use as long as you love the results.

I love my KA still and use it alot, but it comes so close to overheating it's not funny and I have the Pro Model.. not the lower end Artisan.
