Came across this site durring my never ending search for reasonably priced rye flour. It's only available in 50lb. bags but shipping's only $4.99. Dark and Medium are both under $50 a bag. Anyone used this stuff?

when buying some of the ingredients called for in the 'super bread dough improver' recipe. Order arrived quickly, and I had no complaints about the quality of the products ordered.

I just received a case (30 pounds) of hard white winter wheat berries from Honeyville. Arrival was a week after ordering. The grain is packed in 5-pound cans (the size of large coffee cans) with oxygen absorbers. The cans indicate a pack date in 2009.
Honeyville is one of the few sources of this particular wheat. With the 15% discount and cheap shipping, the wheat was still a little expensive, but it was worth it to me because of the form of packaging. I will be using this wheat over a long period of time. It will be easy to find a place to store these cans, and I won’t have to worry about vermin.
So far, so good; but I haven’t opened a can yet.
Opened the first can of wheat berries, which was packed with an oxygen absorber. The grain was as clean as any I’ve seen. The weight was correct. As expected, the milled flour was a little less absorbent than the spring wheat I’ve been using. Gluten development was adequate, and flavor was good. Another happy customer.
