Sorry Everyone - didn't realize that I was being inconsiderate. I didn't realize that I was hogging up the blog entries. Now I know and I thank the person who told me! I won't do a daily blog entry here.

You should post as often as you want. There is no quota. If people don't want to look at your posts they can skip them.

The site is sometimes crowded, but I don't think anyone should discourage members from posting and seeking advice. Patsy

No, it's taht I was told there is limited space for seeing blog posts (or something like that). Only ten, and 4 of them were mine. It would be one thing if my blog was about a specific thing I baked that day and I wanted to share it. But today I talked about cakes I was planning to make, the day before about figuring out about starting a starter and so on. I was cluttering up space.

When I bake something and want to share - I'll post. otherwise, if people want to read my daily blog (which I just started four days ago), then they can look it up and follow on their own on google without burdening this more dedicated space.

There's not a limit. All the blog posts can be seen not just the latest ones - we show only a smaller amount on the front page, but they can all be accessed here.

I'll talk to Floyd this weekend and see if there's an easy way to make a subject-line only version, in the same style as the latest comments page because that is easier to see and scroll through as well - I personally would like that since it allows a quick view without loading all the pictures.

If time allows maybe we can set something like that up to be viewed too this weekend (I'm hoping that it's an easy fix) - you shouldnt feel like you cant post bread, baking, and cake related stuff here.

We have a busy weekend and I'm not sure I'm going to get to this, but you should post whenever you have something interesting to post.  That 4 out of 10 of the latest posts were yours doesn't make a difference... I think that is mainly because it is summer and most of us are baking less often, not that you were baking too much!

and I want to add that I was really wanting to see what came out of that rum/apricot/walnut cake so I really hope you post that here!

What would be nice for blogs is that if a person has a 'blog' that is one title - for that blog, and for each entry, there be a continuation. From how I see it, It's a separate blog each time, with a new thread... hard to follow a single person then, unless you go to their name, click on it, then see what's under it and hit the 'blogs" thing.

Anyway... it's all good for now.

Every user has a blog with its own URL.  It is /blog/[username].  So mine would be at /blog/floydm.
