It's actually a dish called 'Toad in the hole'. :)
The original one's made by laying cooked sausages in a pan and pouring a Yorkshire Pudding mixture (flour, eggs, roast beef drippings, milk..) over it ( but not submerging the sausages).

However, with leftover sausages and bread left, i made a bread pudding mixture (bread, eggs, milk, onions, mustard, thyme). ;)

I must make it again with Yorkshire pudding! Mmmm

Sorry I didn't explain my question, Yes I know toad in the hole, I'm a Brit,;-)))) my question should have really been, what was the bread part.
But It looks like you used Bread, obviously :-)) but I mean baked bread not raw dough, and just added the milk and eggs etc.
And you reckon it was OK, hmmmm I must try that.
thanks.. qahtan
