Artisan bread school

I went on a whim googling for artisan bread classes seeing as there doesnt seem to be anything like KA here, that I have discovered yet.

My first stop...and this is WHERE I stopped because it just blew me out of the water!

The Artisan Bread School. *cries*

I found this course http://www.artisan-bread-school.com/location.htm

I want so bad to do it, but the money and time away from home is just too much to ask for.

bugger!

Well it looks like you might be getting a glimpse of it. The baker at Judge's is one of the instructors in Tuscany. I just checked it out.

TGB,

Great find.  The classes look terrific.  I would love to do the 5 day class.  Let's see, with 1.5 dollars per Euro... Hmmm, guess that's not in the cards for me in the forseeable future.  But it's definitely the stuff dreams are made of.

I'd put the money to it if I were opening a bakey....buuut, I'm not, so I will pine in silence ;)

It would be wonderful - the course and the location.  Heck, I'd be thrilled with either one!

But if you strip the location.htm off, it does.

The link in Thegreenbaker's original post that started this thread is http://www.artisan-bread-school.com/location.htm but if you click on that link the page cannot be found.

If, however, you strip off the location.htm and go to http://www.artisan-bread-school.com/ then it does work, and you get to the Artisan Bread School's home page.

No biggie.

I took the class (wife's b'day gift for me, or herself not sure?) in March 2009.  It was a great class.  It broke me away from using my bread machine to doing everything by hand.  I've never looked back.  Carl is a very engaging teacher and he truly loves his "work".  Very good class.  I highly recommend it.
