Been away for a bit unpacking still, but I could not stomach the store bought bread anymore so I had to bake.
20% Spelt Potato Rosemay Sourdough.......Lunch Bread
20% Spelt Dried Cherry Sourdough........Breakfast Bread
My Wife had a request for me to make some Roasted Garlic Bread so here they are.
Plus I made a plain Loaf for me.
18% Spelt Flour Sourdough
1 with Sunflower Seeds with rolled oats
and on with Walnuts and oat bran
this was my first foray into Spelt flour, quite plaesed with the results.
Three loaves all 30% Whole Wheat, one with Walnuts and Rosemary, one with Sunflower Seeds, and one Plain. The crumb is great too.
New Flat first bake. Going take a little to familiarize myself with the new oven, but not a real bother.
30% Whole Wheat Flax Seed Sourdough
The next two are without Flax Seeds
I won't be posting for a while, the Sainted Wife and I are moving to a different part of Kalifornistan. I fear I will lose my starter in the move, this too will pass. Patients and Calmness are the order of these days to come, moving is never fun.
75% Hydro, 20% HG Flour, 3% Whole Wheat Flour
Tasty Bread but since my wife wanted something with "a little less big holes" so her mustard wouldn't drip out, I had to add a little HG Flour. Turned out well.
Kaiser Rolls first try. I portioned the dough out to 4 oz and proffed for an hour but not as big as I wanted them, next time.
A video short of my bread just as it comes out of the oven.
A better crumb on this batch of Baguettes.....
PS... Makes a nice toastie with Pulled Pork, Dijon and aged Cheddar.
Well they will not win any awards, but they taste good.
Fairly good crumb......
But not regulation.........(as told by my last post)
PS. I made a regular loaf out of the rest of the dough..........
