I added a 1/2 cup of chopped pecans to mine. Thank you for the recipe. This time it was great and I turned it into a Calzone that my girlfriend makes at work. The result was wonderful and very tasteful. I added brown sugar to the recipe for pizza dough on this site. I think next time I am going to try adding more sugar, because I like to have a sweet pizza dough. Does anyone have any tips on making my dough sweeter?
Submitted by davidlouis333 on April 27, 2007 - 12:25pm Pretzel Time!Last night after I had made my first batch of pita's for dinner, I decided to make some pretzels since you don't really have to let them ferment. So I got all my stuff ready and went for it. I was very happy with the way my first set of pretzels came out. The recipe was very tastefull, but I will probably try adding a little more sugar next time to give them a sweeter flavor profile. Baking pretzels was a great way for my girlfriend and I to entertain our selves at the end of a stressfull day. Here is a picture of them. I think this may be the start of a very long friendship...Today I arived home from school, I attend Le Cordon Bleu of Atlanta, and decided to challenge this crazy thing called "baking" again. I have tried to make bread about 3 times before now and have messed something up every time. But this time was different, I did everything correct. I made pita's, I know it was just pita's but for a person who has never baked a thing right in his life, except for that box cake I purchased at the super market, I was happy. I will get a |
